Our Company Story: It all started in 1985
In 1985, Millicent Sanders, owner of The Write Design, started a marketing and management dental consulting business named Millicent Sanders & Associates. For 15 years she wrote marketing plans, audited dental practices, authored training manuals, was published in Dental Economics, and trained dental personnel in front office procedures. In addition, members of her firm performed desktop publishing tasks: Preparing route slips, brochures, newsletters, logos, stationery, and all other print materials requested by clients. She began working on desktop publishing projects and this led to a career change. She went on to pursue formal education and training in desktop publishing, graphic design, web design, and copywriting (writing copy).
Changing the Company Name and Scope of Business
In 2004 Millicent Sanders & Associates was renamed The Write Design. Since that time, we have worked with many different types of businesses besides dental practices. Our clients include: Nonprofit organizations, florists, government, bookkeeping services, water truck and sweeper services, hardware stores, hair and nail salons, painting companies, deejays, cleaning services, kitchen supply products, real estate, mortgage, restaurants, consulting firms, day spas, motorcycle shippers, apparel boutiques, chiropractors, boat accessory selling, radio stations, expositions, construction, and alpacas sales.

The Write Design has been conducting business for 22 years, 18 of those years in Riverbank California. We provide web design, graphic design, desktop publishing, and copywriting to small businesses. We specialize in serving cities in Stanislaus County: Riverbank, Oakdale, Modesto, Empire, Ceres, and Turlock. However, we welcome all clients and have clients located in other cities: Escalon, Fresno, Burbank, Beverly Hills, and Carnelian Bay.
